Let’s build Zuma right out of our lives

Like millions of South Africans Solidarity has lost all faith in Jacob Zuma as president. In a survey undertaken by global market research company Kantar TNS, 74% of South Africans want Jacob Zuma to resign. The actual problem goes beyond Zuma though. Anton van der Bijl, head of Solidarity’s Centre for Fair Labour Practices, argued that despite the fact that Mr Van der Merwe was deemed to be the suitable candidate for the position, he was deliberately overlooked due to his skin colour.
